babysitting!! whoo!!

well tonight i went babysitting for some neighbors of mine, and it wasnt too bad! i got 30 dollars for pretty much just listening her go on and on about whatever, and then sit and watch tv! (thats always fun). oh and i think i got a slight impression that they were canadian...they had streamers all over the kitchen that had the maple leaf on them, and on the counter was this cloth thing that had a huge goose and said CANADA on it...oh and they had the largest collection of hockey dvd's i have ever seen im my life! so i figured...hey...maybe they might be canadian! (but it was really just a hunch :-P)

so anyway, the girl was really nice (shes victoria's age, and was actually in her class last year), and she LOVED to talk. thats pretty much all she did! but it was alright, cuz it was kinda fun to remember what it was like to be an 8 year old girl and what their lives consist of. she was really close, too. like she would just randomly come up and hug me, and when we watched a movie, she was intent upon sitting on my lap, which was akward at first, but it got fine after awhile. shes a really nice girl, and her parents pay well...i hope they call me back sometime!
